He has more than thirty five years of academic experience and is actively associated with statutory bodies like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NAAC, and National Board of Accreditation (NBA). He has been regularly invited by national and overseas organizations to deliver talks on contemporary economic and social issues.

Mr. Kushwaha is the Ex. G.M of M/s Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd, NOIDA. He has qualified M.A English, Diploma in Management and ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor. He is Management Representative for ISO 9000 Quality Systems for more than 20 years experience in Administration.

Dr. Bakul Rao

Member

Professor at the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas, IIT Bombay since 2009, Prof. Rao has more than 29 years’ experience in field of environment and rural development. She has been an “Environmental Consultant” with various multilateral agencies like the World Bank, ADB, INEP, GTZ and also works with different companies to provide solutions to environmental issues including Environmental Compliance / Permitting, Corporate Sustainability, Field Assessments and Remediations, LCA, ISO 14000, and CDM activities.

Mr. Laxman Prasad

Since 2002, serving as Advisor [Mineral Resources and Environment] with Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd., a Raipur based Industrial conglomerate in Chhattisgarh. Present assignments include overseeing CDM & Gold Standard Projects, Energy & Carbon Management of Group Companies. Has published/presented over seventy technical papers and authored eight books in the area of Entrepreneurship, Energy & Environment.

Mr. Praveen N Urs

Director- Climate Change and Sustainability

Mr. Praveen N Urs is a very well-known personality in the climate change domain with 18 years of experience and expertise. He has worked under different capacities like project development, auditing and accreditation. Praveen is recognized for having a high registration success rate of climate change projects commanding more than 1000 projects under UNFCC/VCS. He had been appointed as empaneled auditor by the State Govt. of Karnataka for natural resource and environmental projects schemes. He holds Masters in Environmental Science with additional diplomas in Industrial Safety, Human Resource Management and Software Development. He also has experience in ISO auditing and certifications for corporates, new product development, EPCs of solar power plant and waste treatment facilities. Bringing rich expertise, he is associated with KBS leading the responsibility to support business streams.

Dr. D.Siddaramu

Senior Manager- Projects

Dr. D. Siddaramu holds a Doctorate in Environmental Science with over 20 years of work experience in academic and research in different sectors, including EIA studies, teaching (both undergraduate and postgraduate students), environment and road safety, urban infrastructure, and GHG projects. He is well-versed in monitoring, collecting, and analyzing environmental samples, conducting socio-economic surveys, and data analysis, with expertise in preparing IEE, EMP, validation, and verification reports. As a qualified GHG Lead Auditor, he has successfully registered more than 100 projects with CDM/VCS/GS/Plan Vivo/GCC. He is a qualified lead auditor for Sectoral Scopes 1, 3, and 14 in accordance with the procedures of KBS Certification Services Limited.

Dr. Kitsopon Thaninsiriphittaya

Country Head- Thailand

Dr. Kitsopon Thaninsiriphittaya is a distinguished climate change expert with a focus on production activities, energy use, transportation, forestry and agricultural activities, land use and waste management. As a local expert registered with VERRA, Gold Standard, and CDM (UNFCCC), he serves as an advisor to the Greenhouse Gas Center at the University of Phayao, contributing to projects such as clean energy, low carbon rice and forestry carbon credit development in collaboration with Mahasarakham University. His consultancy and speaking engagements have helped numerous private sector companies accelerate their decarbonization journey. His academic and professional expertise spans corporate sustainability management, business management, quality management, environmental management, risk management, health & safety management, transportation & logistics safety management, business plan preparation, strategic planning, internal auditing, international standard authoring, engineering system services and clean technology.

Ms. Tuğçe Kiratli

Country Head- Turkey

Ms. Tuğçe Kiratli holds Masters in Environmental Engineering and brings rich experience of working in various organizations of repute. She has been deeply involved in Validation and Verification processes and has been working as GHG team leader at the Clean Development Mechanism department of RNA, Turkey. She has also performed ISCC,ISO 50001,ISO 55001,1SO 9001,ISO 14001 audits and Sustainability reports.

Mr. Saji George

Mr. Saji is QHSE professional with vast experience in the sectors of Manufacturing, Retail, Warehousing & Logistics. He performs Third Party Audits for PAN India customers towards Certification of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Standards. He is also a Qualified NEBOSH IGC professional and IT Professional skilled trainer for IRCA approved training courses on Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Occupation Health & Safety Management System.

Mr. Shaji Thomas

Regional Manager - Brazil

Mr. Shaji Thomas brings with him decades of opulent experience towards research and definitive action on climate change and conservation of natural resources in the Amazon region. To his credit are numerous avant-garde studies and publications that have mobilized both regional policy and concrete action to promote climate action thereby building resilient ecosystems and societies. His accomplished work on mangrove governance has brought several laurels. He has been our pivot in Brazil for servicing our Latin American clients.

Mr. Sanjay Kandari

Lead GHG Auditor

Mr. Sanjay has professional experience of more than 13 years in the field of Energy Efficiency, Climate Change, and Renewable Energy. He looks after the UNFCCC accreditation requirements and is responsible for the overall management of the climate change vertical at KBS. He holds an M.Tech Degree in ‘Energy Management’ and is a ‘Certified Energy Manager’ from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Previously, he was associated with TUV, NORD CERT as CDM Assessor for GHG projects validation and verification and has conducted more than 400 GHG audits in various capacities.

Mr. M.P. Prasanna

Senior Manager- Projects

Mr. M.P Prasanna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has around 33+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems. He is a Certified Internal Auditor in Integrated Management System (QMS ISO-9001:2015, EMS ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 OHSAS). Mr. Prasanna is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt holder from TUV. He has handled various GHG Projects of CDM, GS, VCS and GCC and has been instrumental in preparing audit plans, conducting onsite/remote audits, and preparing final validation and verification reports.

Mr. Shankar Shan Patro

Lead Auditor

Mr. Shankar Shan Patro, an accomplished professional with an M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS, boasts of over 12 years of extensive experience in renowned organizations . With a background as a Manager NBS and Consultant, he excels in Remote Sensing, GIS, Data Monitoring & Collection, socio-economic survey execution, and the preparation of pivotal documents such as PDD, Monitoring Plans, and comprehensive reports. Notably, he has also served as a Third-Party Auditor for CAMPA funded projects within the Odisha Forest Department, showcasing his diverse skill set and commitment to excellence.

Mr. Dushyant Parashar

Mr. Dushyant is a certified ISO 14064-1 and 14064-2 (Lead GHG Verifier / Validator). He is a Subject Matter Expert in carrying out Due-Diligence Assessments and Environmental Audits. He is an experienced professional in developing a robust GHG inventory for preparation of carbon footprint and carbon sequestration reports (in line with GRI, TCFD, GHG protocol, WBCSD, ISO 14064, etc.)

Mr. Ashish holds Masters in Environmental Sciences and Bachelor’s in Biotechnology. He carries with him more than 3 years of rich experience in various registries like GS, VCS, SD Vista and CDM. He has done various projects.

Ms. Kanika Lakhani

Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Ms. Kanika has a professional experience of more than 13 years in the field of Accounting, Finance and Taxation Compliances. She is qualified as an Accounting Technician certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. A Graduate from Delhi University, Ms. Kanika has been working with KBS Certification Services Limited since 2015 as Manager Accounts and is responsible for all financial compliances of the Company. She believes that problem solving skills and the right financial decisions can prove as an Asset for an Organization.

Ms. Swati Kalra

Ms. Swati holds a rich experience of more than 12 years in the field of Auditing for Management System Certification. Ms. Swati looks after the accreditation requirements and is responsible for operations of Management System and Product Certification. She is a Qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and also possesses an MBA degree from Symbiosis University, Pune.

Mr. Navinkumar.R holds an experience of more than 16 years in the Field of Oil & Gas. He worked as project manager in many known TPI industries. His skill set includes project management, Team Management , Problem solving Etc. He is a BE Mechanical and PGDBA in Operations Management from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai. Associated with KBS as a Technical Manager and responsible for all TPI inspections.

Ms. Andrea Leiroz

CDM Auditor

Ms. Andrea Leiroz holds a D.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. She brings over 18 years of rich experience across various registries such as CDM, VCS, GS, and GCC. Previously, she was associated with DNV as a CDM Auditor for GHG project validation and verification. She has conducted more than 200 GHG audits in various capacities.

Mr. Chetan C. Khedekar

Quality Manager

Mr. Chetan C. Khedekar brings over 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with expertise in instrumentation, safety, and quality management. He holds a BE in Instrumentation from Mumbai University and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer (IEI Kolkata). He also holds international certifications including NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, and Lead Auditor credentials for QMS, EMS, and OHSMS.

He has worked across refineries, pipelines, LNG, CGD, and the TIC industry, and is approved by DGFASLI, DISH, and PNGRB. At KBS, he is responsible for TPI stage-wise and in-service inspections, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Mr. A. S. Sundarm

Mr. Shunmuga Sundaram A is a seasoned management systems professional with over 20 years of experience in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Auditing, and Certification. As a CQI-IRCA Approved Lead Tutor, he conducts Lead Auditor courses for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, and 27001. He has developed accredited course materials and delivered customized training across various sectors. A Certified ZED Gold Assessor, he also supports MSME growth through structured evaluations.

Mr. Abhinav Raj

Manager – Sustainability

Mr. Abhinav brings strong expertise in EIA, ESIA, EHS compliance, regulatory due diligence, and sector-specific environmental regulations. At KBS Certification Services Ltd, he leads key initiatives in Net Zero strategy, ESG integration, carbon accounting, GHG verification, LCA and Sustainability assurance, aligned with both domestic and international frameworks.

He is proficient in implementing and assuring standards such as ISO 14064 (GHG), ISO 14040 (LCA), ISO 46001 (Water Efficiency), ISO 14068 (Climate Neutrality), and compliance with the EU’s CBAM. His portfolio also includes deep experience in water-related compliance, including water audits, ZLD strategies, and resource efficiency planning.

His expertise is in Renewables, Energy Efficiency, Energy Demand, Transportation and Waste Handling sectors.

He is committed to promoting sustainable practices and continuous improvement within environmental and certification frameworks.

Mr. Nitin Sharma

Mr. Nitin Sharma brings over a decade of experience in Government Sales and Back-end Sales Support. He holds an MBA in IT & Marketing from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, and currently serves as Manager – Tender at KBS Certification Services Ltd.

With extensive expertise in handling both national and international tender processes, Nitin plays a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, formulating competitive bid strategies, and preparing comprehensive and compliant tender submissions. His core responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing bid budgets, and ensuring timely and accurate proposal delivery.
